The use of ANSYS as an FE solver program allows a large amount of freedom when creating further models. Customer-specific models and other models such as brackets can be created.

Calculation models:

Performing an automated FEM analysis in 4 steps

  1. Login to the customer portal of LV
  2. Select the calculation model and enter the calculation parameters in the EXCEL input file.
  3. Start of the FE calculation with Ansys via the customer portal
    • Calculation data sent to Lauterbach Verfahrenstechnik GmbH
    • At LV, the automated calculation process is performed.
    • The results of the FE simulation are prepared for the customer and can be accessed via the customer portal.
  4. Retrieve the results as an Excel file:
    • Display result graphics: Representation of meshing, stresses, displacements
    • Preparation of documentation: For AD 2000 and ASME VIII-2
    • Additional options / advantages:
      • Overview of all calculations performed
      • Managing result reports / documentation
      • Worldwide access to results via the Internet
