CADFEM ANSYS Extension for the design and validation of cooling systems and thermal engineering plants

Free booking

VDI Heat Atlas is the recognized standard work for the design of technical apparatus and plants in process and energy technology. Lauterbach Verfahrenstechnik GmbH has converted the plant into a calculation software (LV-ATLAS) and thus enables the user to determine all required characteristic values quickly and flexibly. The CADFEM engineering tool VDI-Wärmeatlas inside ANSYS integrates this calculation software into ANSYS Workbench and thus combines the benefits of analytical solutions with the strengths of numerical simulations.

In this webinar the integration of the VDI Heat Atlas in ANSYS Workbench will be shown with examples.

Agenda

  • Convection boundary conditions for a cooling channel and a battery pack with flow around it
  • Tank with impact flow
  • Thermal tensions at a nozzle
  • Quick cooling of beverage packs
  • Loads of a reactor vessel
