HCL module

The thermodynamics of the HCl-H2O system are required in numerous chemical and process engineering applications..

The HCL module calculates the physical properties of HCl-H2O systems. The following physical properties can be determined as a function of pressure, temperature and composition:

  • Density
  • Specific heat capacity
  • Thermal conductivity
  • Dynamic viscosity
  • Kinematic viscosity
  • Prandtl number
  • Thermal diffusivity
  • Coefficient of thermal expansion
  • Surface tension
  • Saturation pressure
  • Partial pressure of water and acid
