Pressure vessel with welded-on half-pipes (HLB)

HLB module

For vessels with welded-on half-pipes, the pressure space in the half-pipes must be taken into account. The half-pipes and the vessel wall must be designed for this load.

The HLB module determines the required wall thickness of the vessels and the welded-on half-pipes. The wall thickness of the shell is calculated as a long rectangular plate.
