BEIN module – Vessels on support legs

Calculation of multiple supports according to AD S3/0, section 4.4

For vessels on supports or support feet, the BEINmodule performs a stress analysis of the vessel wall and a stability analysis in accordance with AD S3/0. A database for standard profiles (T, U, H, etc.) according to DIN 1024 is integrated.

Weight forces G and transverse forces Q (e.g. wind loads) can be specified. If the maximum normal force according to AD-S3/3 is exceeded, a stability check according to DIN 18800 Part 2 is performed.
